Himalayan Trek: Brighu Lake [11th to 18th July 2009] [Rs. 7500] -- Almost full

Close enough to habitation, yet in a secluded, lush green dale, the Bhirgu Lake is at an altitude of 4235 meters. It lies east of the Rohtang Pass and is about 6 km from the village of Gulaba. The shores of this clear water lake are visited regularly by the people of the area and are held sacred to 'rishi' Brighu.

Himalayan Trek: Batal-Barachala [25th to 31st July 2009] [Rs. 20,000] -- Registration is ON

One of the most scenic high altitude treks in Himachal Pradesh, it takes one to the crystal clear waters of Chandertal and then through the high passes of Baralacha-La. Culturally, it's the threshold to the mystical Buddhism practiced in Spiti, Lahaul, Ladakh and Tibet. The barren landscape in the upper regions and the green valleys below, make the trail awe-inspiring and one of the must-experience ones in this part of the Himalayas.

Himalayan Trek: Miyar Valley [16th to 23rd August 2009] [Rs. 24,000] -- Registration is ON

Miyar Valey: The Miyar Valley is located in the Indian part of the Great Himalaya, stretches for over 100 km, from Udaipur to the Kang La pass. It connect the Lahaul valley of Himachal to the Zanskar region in Ladakh.

The locals - the Tharanga people - are mainly shepherds and farmers. Due to its remoteness the valley sees very few trekkers every year and is a pristine region for trekking and climbing.

Kalihani Pass: Though limited to the Kullu valley, the trek takes you to upper reaches of the Pir Panjal range with excellent views of Hanuman Tibba, Indrasan and other peaks. Kalihani Pass also forms the pathway to the remote Bara Bangal village in the Kangra valley.

Himalayan Trek: Tosh Valley_Animal Pass [20th to 29th September 2009] [Rs. 20,000] -- Registration is ON

Tosh Valley: The Tosh is a feeder valley of the popular Parbati Valley which leads to the Pin Parbati Pass. The Tosh Nallah meets the Parbati river at Pulga coming from the North. The Tosh valley is initially narrow but as you progress higher the valley starts to open up and you cross several beautiful meadows. At the head of the valley is the Tosh Glacier surrounded by some well known peaks: Papasura ( 6451m) & White Sail ( 6446m ).

The trek begins at Naggar after a short drive from Manali of the left bank of River Beas. After crossing the Chanderkhani Pass (3600m), is the unique Malana village, famous for its distinct and very reserved social culture. Care and respect for local customs is essential.
